4Normal training. Road party moved to Knaresborough.  
6Regiment moved by rail to Knaresborough to take over from 41st Royal Tank Regiment. 5 x Personnel Carriers received from VRS, Chilwell. 4 x BSA Solo Motorcycles received from O.O., Overton-on-Dee. 1 x Vauxhall & 2 x Morris 4-str cars from LTC, Loyals, Preston. 
7Normal training.It is almost certain that at least one squadron would have been billeted at Scriven Hall in Knaresborough.
8Normal training. 4 x Morris 2-str Utility cars received from VRS, Chilwell. 
9Normal training. Rear party moved to Knaresborough. 
10Normal training. 2/Lieut TR Morley joined.Timothy Richard Morley was the brother of Major (later Brigadier) Michael Frederick Morley MBE, who had joined 23H on 7 Dec 1940.
11-13Normal training. 
14Normal training. 2 x instructors in D & M and 1 in Gunnery sent to Divisional School. 
15-16Normal training. 
17Normal training. Brigade DR School opened. 
18Normal training. 
19Normal training. 1 x D & M Instructor arrived from 2nd R.G.H., 1 Gunnery Instructor arrived from 13th/18th Hussars. 
20Normal training. 2 x tanks, Infantry Mark III, received from 46th Royal Tank Regiment. 
22-23Normal training. 
24Divisional School opened. 12 x HQ Driver/Operators start training. 2/Lieut M. Watney arrived. Michael George Watney would be killed in Tunisia on 29 Mar 1943 whilst attached to the 10th Royal Hussars.
25Normal training. 1 x Gunnery Instructor arrived from 54th Training Regiment. 4 x Austin 2-str Utility cars received from 29th Armoured Brigade. 1 x Bedford 3-ton lorry received from Ministry of Supply. 
26Normal training. 1 x Office truck received from V.R.S. Chilwell. 
27Normal training. Drill competition between HQ recruits and 24th Lancers recruits. 2 x Austin 2-str Utility cars received from 8th Battalion, Rifle Brigade. 
28Normal training. 1 x D & M Instructor arrived from 15th/19th Hussars. 1 x Bedford 3-ton lorry received from Ministry of Supply.  
29-30Normal training.
