A day-by-day account of the 23rd Hussars' actions, from their formation in December 1940 until they were disbanded in January 1946, based on the War Diary.

Links to the 23H Story and Geoff Bishop's book are included, as are quotes and extracts from veterans' accounts either related to the author or otherwise available in the public domain.

Original spellings (often wrong in the case of place names) have been preserved. The 'Notes' column was not part of the original Diary and its contents are my own.
