17Lieut Carlos-Clarke posted to Commando Depot. Professional boxer, dog kennel assistant, vegetable chef and cowboy; a boyhood friend of the Prince of Wales (later Edward VIII), 'Sandy', as he was known, would become a well-known racehorse trainer.
