7Normal training. 2/Lieut Glyn posted to 57th Training Regiment for India. Sir Alan Jack Glyn would become Conservative MP for Clapham from 1959 to 1964, Windsor from 1970 to 1974, and Windsor and Maidenhead from 1974 until his retirement in 1992. He was knighted in 1990.
