Notes

Killed on day one of Operation EPSOM, Edward was the first man wearing the 'Big H' to be killed in battle. The 23H Story (Page 46) clearly describes the incident of 26 Jun, but then lists his death on 27 Jun. The C Squadron Roll of Honour gives the correct date.
